Program Manager
We Connect The Dots is a not-for-profit organization that creates education experiential learning programs for students ages 13-25. Our mission is to inspire and educate students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) careers. Through a collaboration with the community, education, government and the technology industry, WCTD provides awareness and education of the 21st Century workforce skills, as well as the opportunities available to students embracing STEAM careers. Impacting students at a local, national and global level, our programs create a hunger for learning that empowers students to find their own paths to success.
Job Description
The Program Manager will provide reliable, timely, and professional support to the Executive Director and a staff of volunteers to enhance the organization's brand awareness, funding, and education programs. The Program Manager will provide support through social media, nurture marketing and constituent retention platforms. The role will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.
Compensation:
35-40 hours per week; $35k - $40k/annually
Responsibilities Include:
Planning and executing of WCTD programs
Assist in sponsorship sales and grant writing
Manage organization social media presence
Manage online and direct marketing campaigns
Website and blog management
Attending meetings (Board Meetings, Team Meetings)
Meetings you will co-manage (Programs, Video-Editing, Volunteers)
Assist in event management for internal events including seminars, conferences, webinars, tradeshows, roundtables etc. including event budget
Maintain marketing/constituent database
Maintain marketing and education calendar
Managing volunteer recruitment/Volunteer Match
Assist in the development and editing of communications including collateral and funding scripts
Lead sourcing of branded promotional items and printing
Supporting Executive Director with email follow-ups and email communications
Preferred Requirements
Applicant should be passionate about education and technology, looking to build experience and learn to utilize the latest technology tools in a high tech organization with team members ready to teach and inspire the right candidate.
The following are competencies that will be taught in this role. Candidates that bring already developed competencies in these areas will increase their likelihood to be selected.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and more)
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
QuickBooks experience is a plus
Sales & marketing experience is a plus
Experience in Tech Industry is preferred
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
