Connect for a cause

Laurie Carey is just one alumnae member who is giving big in her own way. She is founder and executive director of the We Connect the Dots organization. The four-year-old nonprofit is based in Westbury, New York, and was launched to leverage science to excite, inform and educate students about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) careers.
